Acquittal for the client

Elegit partner Oleksiy Kudryavtsev successfully defended a state enforcement officer accused of abuse of office in the court of first instance.

The prosecution claimed that the client’s actions caused the state-owned enterprise losses in excess of half a million hryvnias. However, the lawyer proved that the client’s actions did not constitute a crime, and that his decisions were in line with the law and his official duties.

The court fully acquitted the defendant and dismissed the civil claim.
